Help not displayed on windows7

Cannot seem to get to the machine help to display. The help tries to connect to the internet?????

Works OK here.
Is it win 7 or vista ?
Are you trying from the menu or F1 key ? or are both not working ?

This is from the ff1 or the help menu on Win 7 and on 2 new XP installs

What format is the help file stored as and where should it be located on the install?

I cannaot find a help directory

in C:\Program Files\Denford\VRTurning
or C:\Program Files (x86)\Denford\VRTurning
there is Turn.hlp and Vrturn.hlp

both files exist but open microsoft help.

Is this file accociation?

I think I have the answer.

The machines with the problem are all windows 7.

It seems this version does not have the software installed to view older help files.
The following link should resolve this.

Those files will be on the next VR Turning CD... under \Utility\WinHelp4Win7
