Easiturn3 (PNC3 CONTROL) MACHINE LIMIT EXCEED IN X
hi

i also have an Easiturn3 (PNC3 CONTROL) with the same problem, i manually moved away from datum/ref/zero, i have removed the saddle and checked the 2 limit (overtravel?) switches they are clean and working fine, i also checked the proximity detecter it had 4volts rising to 4.3 volts when activated.
i have even looked for a thermal trip on a relay but as yet have not found one
STILL unable to 'zero' therefore do anything else.
did you manage to sort out your problem.
any help in this matter greatly appreciated

hi
further to my previous msg pressing 't' on boot up displays the following
dil switch 110010
m/c switch 111
datum 0100
step/direction 11000000
drive faults 1100
o/t's x+z+ x- z-
is there anywhere that spreads light on this data?

The overtravels should be clear.

Take a look at the fuses & 5 & 12 volt LED`s inside the control.
The cover around the control slides off & the power supply is the card in the centre looking from the top. The LED`s are near the top.

Also, make sure you enter the 't' test screen AFTER you have turned the drives on.
(I think all OverTravels show active otherwise!)
