My cousin-in-law asked me to come look at this Bridgeport he got recently from auction...£425 with lots of tooling !!
At first I just couldn't remember how to use the Heidenhain, but it all came back in the end - if I get time, I'll try making some notes on all the oddities that make the control difficult to use (even with the books!)

Well, I couldn't help think about the old denford machines going for more than that on eBay!

but don't forget that Denford machines are much better quality that's why they have a higher resale value.
