Orac converted to mach3

Hi everybody !

It's my first message in this forum

I'm from france and i have an Orac lathe you can see on the picture.

This lathe as been retrofited to mach3, i'm really enjoyed to bought it !!

It's good to see these old machines still going strong !

The only fault it has is the motor, it's no enough powerful.

But the steppers motors are good, i've very fast traverse for steppers motors and the accuracy is good too.

Good accuracy, good design and versatile !!

OMG !! A Zerocentre !! It must be very expensive ? no ?

I have recently bought an other cnc lathe (sorry it's not a denford )

It's a Emco compact 5 cnc, i have to remake the electronic from A to Z. A lot of work but it was very cheap !!
