I get a "ERROR 31 MOTION PACKET MISALIGNED TYPE 3" on my VLS 2.30 30 Watt Laser

I know on some computers (especially laptops) the USB power is insufficient and can cause disconnection & other errors. This may be manifesting in the 5.24.38 as an error #31. Please try a powered USB hub to see if this resolves the issue.
I have had a customer with this problem that was resolved by uninstalling & reinstalling the driver.

I had some problems installing 5.24.38 on my laptop.
General rules when installing this driver.
ENSURE ALL OLDER DRIVER INSTALLATIONS ARE REMOVED FIRST!
ENSURE THE LAPTOP HAS THE POWER SUPPLY CONNECTED.
I COULD NOT GET THE USB DRIVER TO INSTALL CORRECTLY WHEN THE LAPTOP WAS ON BATTERY POWER.
