Slot together Chess Pieces

We are teaching the concept of slot together using chess pieces. It is a great way to make students work through the process and understand how to make the slots line up, etc. before going on to more difficult projects.

Using a router. We have a Versa laser, but have not tried it with the students yet.

Some clear acrylic would make great looking chess pieces on the Laser
Bear in mind that the laser has a small cutting width which you will need to offset when creating your designs (just like a tool offset)
