Z axis "Asynchronous axis error" VR Milling Ver 2

I keep getting a "Asynchronous axis error" on VR Milling Ver 2 and the Z axis will not home. This occurred after the Emergency Stop button was pressed and then reset?

Could be a fault on the Z axis drive side of the control board. First I would install the latest ver of VR Milling ver 2 from out web site which is Ver 2.31

I'd also power the machine off and back on again before re-connecting with VR Milling
