Post by samsue13 »

I require a installation, programing and maintenace manual for a EASITURN 3 machine with a PNC3 control.

I have the manual for the EASIMILL 3 with PNC3 control.

Have just found a couple of Easiturn / PNC 2 and 3 manuals whilst looking for something else.

They are lots of pages, and time-consuming to photograph or scan - I can't really do it in work time.

I might setup some kind of donation scheme in order to get all our old manuals scanned in a bit quicker - I'll start a vote in this section

can you advise on upgrading it, it has an automatic tool changer and it is in very nice condition, just a small problem has arisen, the speed is no longer indicated and it gives spindle error. This problem is probably the optical senser because it only started after I sprayed it with pcb cleaner  . However it is a part from RS and it has the part number on it.

Upgrading the machine is staright forward when/if you know what you're doing, you can even reuse the existing steper drivers. The best bet is to look around this site.
The tool changer can be done with Visual basic script in Mach3, I've never done anything as seroius as that with vb as I don't have a tool changer. There are people on the Mach forum with denford changers & have done the deed, so it's do-able.
Oh - and you can use the existing spindle speed sensor :) but you only want one hole/slot - yes it does work. The 40 odd on the original is overkill and makes the computer work harder counting the pulses
