Can anyone point me in the direction of a dimensioned drawing for part ML124 (a or b) Splash Guard?
Having trawled through the available documents I cannot find one.

Are you talking about the chuck guard, which hinges down over the chuck, or the splash back, the sheet metal item which fits along the back of the tray, behind the bed? The chuck guard usually can't be used with a 4 jaw chuck or the faceplate because they are too big.
Where did you get the number ML124 from? Usually Denford drawing numbers came from a series beginning ML100/, or ML105/ or ML110/ or ML115/ followed by the individual drawing number, such as 124. Yours might possibly be ML100/124.
Why do you think you need pumped coolant, its awfully messy in a home workshop.

From what I could glean from the listed files ML124 (a or b) appears to be the metal splash guard and the a or b is the length. It appears to be a universal fit for a range of models.
The progression to a semi automatic set up (ELS) would mean work getting done perhaps faster under machine control and coolant could/would be useful, it will also serve another machine.

The headstock arrangement and spindle lock drawing I've got for the TDS series lathes, ML100/100A, appears to show the sheet metal guard as ML100/125.

You I think are looking at a chuck guard, this is not headstock and spindle - it should be cabinet assembly or an extra.
