Just wondered if anyone could send me a good picture of the speeds and feeds plate that goes below the dial, mine is missing, I might be able to make one on my laser with a good picture.

Hi,
I think what the plate says may depend on the model of lathe,i.e. Metric or Imperial.
Mine is metric.

Is this the 12345 dial on the gearbox?
If so I might have a spare

Ok send me a message with your address, pay the postage and it's yours.
I seriously recommend you make your best effort to change that front plate without removing the gear change lever though. It has an odd number of splines and teeth on the rack gear and if the pinion disengages it's easty to trash the gears by not getting it back in with full engagement.

Hi
Long shot here but can you remove that front gearbox cover without removing the gear selector lever.
