order of datuming
Hi all,
My Starmill has a broken tool changer and I have photos of the remaining
3 bits. As I try to datum the machine it gets to the changer and the motor
starts to revolve looking for a sequence of events. What can I do (the order)to pass the
Datum test.
below are the photos

I can't open any of images but you could disable the ATC in the ".OPT" file.

What software are you running?

If it's dos based then you will have a option file. Something like Starmill.opt ot Fanucsmd.opt. If you open the file in word or notepad you can delete the specific line. You should see the relevant line near the bottom of the list. Look for a command like NOAIR 0 or ATC 1.

If you do F10 you should be able to select Exit then browse through the Dos to the relevant directory.
