Failed to Connect, USB

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Router 2600 Pro from a college liquidation auction, and I have been machining away just fine for the last couple of days.

Today, one of my programs finished, and the machine was sat for 10-15 minutes connected to the PC whilst awaiting its next job, and all of a sudden it disconnected.

I get the little notification sound when I connect the machine to the PC but VR CNC Milling 5 isn't recognizing the unit.

When I tried to reconnect to run my next program, I get the failed to connect error.

I have tried the following-
Using a different port on the PC
Using a different USB Cable
Using a different PC
Re-installing VR CNC Milling 5

Nothing seems to rectify the issue, is there anything else I can try to fix the situation?

Can you try to connect using EasyUpgrader.

It will be one of the options on the VR CNC Milling cd.

Hi Martin,

I can confirm Easy Upgrader seems to be connecting just fine - it tells me my machine is up-to-date, and shows the following information.

Left Box
Firmware: 5331
FPGA: 0
CPLD: 0
Comms: -1
Machine ID: Router 2600 Pro
Serial Number: XXXXX (the serial number is there, but I have left it out for the purpose of this post)
Node: 2

The right hand side shows
Firmware: 0
FPGA: 5414
CPLD: 17
Comms: 4

At the bottom of the screen it says "Connected OK on USB" and "Unknown Controller".

Thanks!
