Hi,
I have a triton pro which has been converted to run with centroid acorn, which i'm very happy with. There is just some info/help needed.
1. I want the spindle to be reversible, not sure how to achieve?
2. Need to know what some or all of the original parameters were in the servo drives?
Any other info would also be appreciated.
cheers
Pete
Can you confirm the serial number of the machine & what spindle drive is fitted.
Hi, thanks for the reply. Attached photo's as thought it was more precise?
There is a KBSI240D inbetween drive and motor, recommended by centroid (control is acorn)
I'm also struggling with setting the servo steps per rev (only ever had steppers) I have the WMON software and a cable and can access the servo's but just can't figure it out.
Thanks

I've managed to figure out altering the servo params, so i'm just needing a bit of help/info on been able to reverse the spindle please?

The DC Sprint drive will does not have a reverse input so you will need to add a spindle reverse relay & invert wires 9 & 11. Make sure the spindle is not running when you change direction though.
Thanks Martin, could you point me to a suitable relay on ebay or similar please. Also i've included a couple more photos of a schematic that was with the machine and photo of some of the relays etc. What does SRR stand for?
Thanks again

SRR is normally Spindle Reverse Relay so it looks like you already have one wired in just need to wire it to your new controller.
Thanks for the reply David. I was thinking the same thing. Would you agree that The signal for reverse from the control should go to connection 7 on the SRR?
