Toolpost - Six station Baruffaldi

Hi All,

I have just bought a Cyclone 150p machine but I cannot index the toolpost, select the tool required and press the green button but nothing happens.

I also have a low air pressure warning but I assume this has nothing to do with it - I actually have 130psi.

I have been trying various "phase" rotations and I think I have tried them all, sometimes the turret does pop in / out during switch on phase but does not rotate.

Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Are you sure it's a Baruffaldi turret?

The TOE60 doesn't pop-in/out, it simply rotates, with the sliding/locking mechanism all contained internally. It's also purely electrical with no air supply needed.

I'm aware other turrets were used, however I've only ever seen the TOE60/80.
If it is a different turret that uses air pressure, then I'd look at fixing the low air pressure fault first, or at least bypassing the switch to see if that's the problem.

Hi Moray,

Thanks for the tip - I have bypassed the low air signal - still doesn't work from toolpost selection & green button but it now is changing during program!!

I can live with this for now as I can MDI toolpost for setting.

Do you get an alarm when you try to index it?

You may just need the diagnostics setting.
