Hi there
i have a denford triac and will start to use it soon as i have been saving up for a three phase inverter
i got a kurt dl430 vise for the m/c a few months ago but i have been told it will be to heavy for the m/c
does any body know the max weight i can put on the milling table please
cheers Mick
It's pretty difficult to quantify - you can probably put a lot of weight on a Triac table, however, it will just stall the stepper motors when you try to move it.
Then, if they did move the weight, they might still stall when taking a cut, due to the extra load.

i've seen triacs with a 4" vertex vice as standard. i can weigh the one i have here if it helps.
Also they've had the hydrahlic vice option, i'll weigh that for you as well if you need it.
Hi Angletech
could you please weigh the vise you have mine as servo not steppers but should be the same power one would think
the vise i got for the mill is a kurt DL430 and is 45pounds in weigh looking at a other vise that is 24 pounds in weigh
thank you

i'll dig them out in the morning and weigh them. The hydrahlic vice is from a servo machine.
