I have a brand new Compact 1000 Pro running VR CNC Milling 5 (5-43). My first attempt to machine an F1 car resulted in an error message of "error code 1227". After rebooting everything I was able to get to the "homing" routine after which it timed out within 5 seconds. I tried a new USB cable, replacing the one that came with the machine and was able to machine one side of the F1 block. When I flipped the block and started to run the other side I received a "timeout on ICM (host TX)" message and the "error code 1227" message. I switched the USB to another port, made sure no power saver settings were on, no screen saver active, rebooted the machine and the computer. Same error messages.

Are you able to try the machine with another PC? Just so we can rule out one or the other.
