The answer to this will be caused by Backlash. Solution / things to check
1. Is the "X" axis "Crabbing"?
2. Ensure the "X" axis pullies are aligned
3. Check the locknut on the "X" axis is tight
4. Check that the lead screw bearing securing plates are secure
5. Clean the "X" axis anti backlash units
6. Clean the "X" axis guide bars and lead screw and lubricate with dry
silicone
