Burning on card

Im trying to cut matt board of 0.7mm, but every time it seems to burn the edges and the cut of the laser seems quite wide. The machine is brand new.

Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you located?

Has the Laser been commissioned?

It sounds like the laser is out of focus. (This could be due to the calibration on commissioning not being carried out)

After you have cut a part can you get your focus tool and check if the focus distance is correct?
