Turn 270M will not home in X

Afternoon,

Just had to reinstall the software for a Turn 270M
When trying to home Z, absolutely fine
WHen trying to home X, doesnt move, but can hear the motor having a hernia

any suggestions please?

Hi, Do you have a manual toolpost or an 8 station turret?

When selecting the machine type the Turn270PRO should be selected if a turret and Turn270PROM if a manual tool post.

The machine type dictates the direction of travel when homing.
