When rastoring and rastoring a photo im getting a double image only slightley but it makes a poor image ,looks blured.,how can this be inproved? thank you .
I'm no expert on Lasers but have you cleaned the mirrors and double checked the height setting is correct ?

Remember the laser beam has a focus point where it's at it's smallest and most powerful, then the beam widens which is why you get slightly tapered edges when cutting through a thicker sheet.

the depth z appears ok ,it when its in rastor the text and image has a off set image to the left.only by 0.19 mm (gessing)
Make sure the X axis stepper motor timing belt pulley, is securely fastened to the stepper motor shaft. via the imperial Allen screw on the pulley, if its slack you get backlash which can cause the double image.
It could be backlash in one of the axes...is the shadow visible in one axis, ie left/right or up/down ?
What is the tuning value set to?
When you raster it fires from both directions so thefore it draws 2 seperate vertical lines. When you adjust the tuning it drops both lines on the same point. The normal value would be between +6 & +8.

yep the value was way too high , +7 did the trick . spot on.
