How do I include a left hand turning tool in VR Turning?

Because Quickturn 2D Design supports back-finish turning tools, we are now asked about VR Turning being able to simulate a Left Hand turning tool.
It is possible, but be warned that there may well be differences in the VR Turning simulation as the tools are defined differently to QuickTurn 2D - we are planning to make VR Turning use the same tool definitions soon...
If you're using QuickTurn 2D, then use that to simluate and confirm the part is going to be cut correctly. Use the VR Turning simulation as a final check to make sure the CNC program has been created correctly and doesn't do anything it shouldn't.

You can create a LH tool in VR Turning by referring to the attached screenshot:

1. Open up tooling
2. Open up tool library
3. Select tool 3 for example, or drag a turning tool from the library into position 3.
4. From the tool library, change the tool's tip orientation
