Hardware/Software: Denford 2600 router

Help needed

Hi, I have a Denford micro router which runs off tormach pathpilot. I wish to remove the pathpilot part from the machine and use it to run a router. However I am not sure about the way to go about it. Pathpilot is a bit dated, but I have it, so may as well try to use it. As far as I understand it. There is a board in the pc that connects to a second board in the machine which you can see in the picture. The problem lays in the fact that I do not have any information on the board inside the machine. What powers it, how it connects to the motors etc. Does anyone know. Thanks, michael
