Battery Replacement MicroMill

Post by backyard_cnc » Tue 23 Mar , 2021 8:03 am

So the battery on my recently acquired MicroMill was somewhat leaky after some 22 years which is not surprising so I cleaned up the mess with a Safety Wash chemical for now to prevent further corrosion before I can source a replacement. Surprisingly it still measures 1.8v so it hasn’t gone totally flat given its 2.4V initial rating. Can I just swap the old one out for new or are any onboard parameters lost?

You do not need to replace it. Just remove it as it is not required .
