The second picture is based on the Tom Senior 'VS' mill, characterised by the dovetail (Vee Slide) overarm support (as opposed to the round bar overarm support on the "M1" and 'Major' mills). The 'VS' used the wider knee from the 'Major' machines, along with the bi-ditectional mechanical power feed.
The 'VS' designation was carried over onto the Denford Senior (DS... series) drawings, along with 'Universal', but there was inconsistency as to how the model names were used and machines labelled from TS days.
The 'Universal' machines were shown in the TS brochure as having a rotatable table and electric power feed. However, serial number tags with 'Universal' printed on them have been seen on a whole range of machines - hence the erroneous descriptions that sometimes accompany machines for sale.
So I think this photo would best be labelled as a Denford Senior VS.
