zero centre software limit parameters

Post by mickgc29 » Sat 22 Jun , 2013 23:02 pm

Just got my zero centre up and running and would like to know if any body knows what the setting are for the following parameters

700
701
702
703
704
705 these are the soft switchers as I had to adjust 702 from 1000 to 9999999 to get the m/c to home
or the m/c would give alarm 520 over travel and was no way near the switch

Clear the overtravel message by powering on with PQ and CAN pressed in
viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2482

The s/w limits are probably in microns so the number you changed from 1000 is 1mm above home position
I'm guessing
700= x+ limit
701= y+ limit
702= z+ limit
703
704=x-limit

You'll be able to tell that from the numbers already there, write them down and adjust them if you need to.

The machine serial number looks to be ZC27119H & was built December 1989.

The Fanuc OM-B control is serial number 90327829.

I have looked at the parameter list that we have but unfortunatley the 700 parameters are blank but as Admin said we would normally,

1. Home the machine.
2. Jog the axis to the limit switch.
3. Back it off 3mm & set the corresponding parameter.
