110v transformer va

i have a modified triac i need to buy an 110v transformer just to run the oiler ....any idea what va 240vto 110v transformer i require

What oiler pump does your Triac use make and model, that would be useful to know to find the electrical load. Mine has a Bijur oiler but I can't access it easily at the moment as it's a work in progress.

thanks i took a punt and bought a 200va transformer all seems good

That should do it. I looked up a Bijur TM-1 oiler and that gave a 3W power consumption and an estimate of the running current worked out it needed minimum 11VA transformer.
