ATC home switch

Post by Manny » Thu 14 Jan , 2021 16:29 pm

HI All

the starmill pc I have has been converted to mach 3. I have the ATC working but their is a switch in the carousel when open it is measuring 5v when close 0v.

Question is I have traced the cables back to the interface 65 and 73 but not as the pc electrical diagrams . they go to 42 and 44, so know the cable are ok back to the board

When trying to id the pin by closing the switch nothing registers.

I have checked by taking a wire from the 5v on the switch to gnd and it then registers on the diagnostics screen.

Now not quite sure where what's to check should this be registering? Any thoughts much appreciated

problem solved, was a break in the wire from the switch wire to the output of the cabinet
