Post by Jamie d » Tue 27 Jul , 2010 15:53 pm

Hi

I have currently have a 1995 starmill and it dosnt seem to communicate with the controller , the software is the original with the machine (DOS), when you send a program to the controller it seems to send ok ? but when you try to upload from the controller theres nothing there ? the display on the board shows 8 and all the fuses etc are ok ?? possable serial lead fault ? any one have the pin diagram for the lead ??

thanks

Jamie

I think the DOS machine used the same cable as the newer ones.

What does the cable you have look like? Does it have any lables on? If it says LINDY then it is probably the right one.

Has the machine just stopped working or are you trying to get it to work for the first time?
