Y axis homing the wrong way!

Post by CFIE Prototyping lab » Fri 13 May , 2022 10:12 am

After running a few initial passes on a job I set the machine to home the axis. The x and z axis worked fine but the Y axis started travelling the wrong way and has hit the perspex door. It wants to come out of the machine!! I turned it off and left it overnight but the problem still exists. Any help greatly appreciated.

You may have some dust in the Y Axis home switch.

If you manually push the switch a few times while holding a vac next to it should be fine.
