Router 2600 Pro - Machine Connection Problem

Hi, we have a Router 2600 Pro, we've had it over a year and never been able to get it working (It was on my list just as we all went into lockdown). The problem is when running the VR CNC software the PC and the machine won't communicate.

I've installed the VR CNC Milling software, then the 32-bit drivers, then turned the machine on, opened the software then clicked on the 'Test Machine Communication' but it comes up with 'Could not connect to the machine' error popup.

The PC is picking up the machine because if I remove the USB you can hear the disconnect/reconnect noise.

I'm guessing it may be a driver error? but I do believe the CD that came with the machine is the most upto date version of the software.

Has anyone else had anything similar? It's really frustrating that we have this expensive kit and can't use it.

Can you install EasyUpgrader & see if that connects?

Also have you selected the correct machine.

Thanks for a prompt response.

Just tried EasyUpgrader but it still isn't connecting. I've got the correct machine selected.

I'm getting my hands on a fresh device, I have a sneaky suspicion the network config of the devices in my school might be causing some of the issues.

any other suggestions are welcomed

Can you remove the cover from the electrical panel. Then check there is power to the control card. There is a 7 segment display on the control card. Is it lit and what does it display?

Hi all
I have exactly the same issue as outlined. installed easy upgrader as requested but no go. I have opened the electrical panel and even connected directly into the motherboard bypassing the extension but still no geek out of the machine. :delirious:
would be grateful for any input.

Have you downloaded the latest VR Milling and used the 64 bit driver on the CD?
