hi ! I try my nova turn today and not connect to Vr turn . just two messages pop up 1- Emergency stop safety checking has failed , contact Denford if problem persist. 2- electronic safety check have failed .system must be restarted. what can I do . thanks for all help .

It sounds like VR Turning is not seeing the machine.

Is the machine switched on?
Is the seven segment led on the control card illuminated?
What control board does your machine have?
What is the connection between the computer & machine?

I think the problem will be the Eprom chip (V2.1)
so this is my nova turn and was changed the motion board to next step

how can I buy perfect E prom ?
I will try today the machine upgrader .and check all setup .

If its a NextStep you don`t need the eprom.

If you run EasyUpgrader & try to connect.

I presume you have installed the USB Drivers?

hi! the easy upgrader connect to the control board via usb and say that updated and looks everything fine . after when try connect to vr turning say machine not found ( was selected novaturn NS ).thanks

I think you may have the wrong firmware on the control card. It should be 5403 & not 5414.

If you open up & connect to the machine using EasyUpgrader then double left mouse click on the orange banner near the top you can select the firmware.
You should have NextMove ST USB Rohs with CE updates 2009 then click on Force Firmware. It installs 3 items so make sure you do not turn it off until it is complete.

how much will be about take to Denford and check somebody ?need check and fixing .
I don't want convert to mach3 because like the original Denford system .

In answer to the last two posts here.

The cross check error on the control cards are only carried out on machines built since 2009. If an older machine is trying to cary this out then the firmware on the control card is too new and must have been updated or you must have the wrong machine selected in the software.

With regard to drawings for a Novaturn Smartstep. I have uploaded them in the post below.
