Air chuck for novaturn

I have read somewhere that some of the fancy novaturns had a couple of pneumatic goodies, I am interested in attempting to get an air chuck working on mine in conjunction with a bar puller to make a semi autonomous machine. Im pretty far out from that point, but I was hopeful to find some info about the chucks that were used and possibly start the hunt for one. I am interested to see if the air chucks of this size had pass through or not, I assume the air line ran through the spindle.

Hi the Air chuck used din not allow bar to pass through.

The air only opened the jaws and spring pressure closed them. They were supplied with soft jaws that had to be bored to suit the billet.

Guess I'm probably going to make a pneumatic collet closer instead! This may be a stupid question, but is the spindle face a standard size? I don't have it in front of me to measure the hole spacing and such, but it seems like there aught to be a collet holder that fits the face.

Hi Steve,
Do you happen to have any pictures or diagrams of the air chuck? Was this machined by denford, or was it a sourced chuck?
