We have a Novaturn here in class and we are trying to use the canned threading cycles. We've used G33 G76 and G92 and are not able to get any of these to work on the lathe. We can get them to roll on the 2d and 3d simulator, however the machine just rolls up to the part and hangs out! :delirious:

Does anyone out there know if our Novaturn with VR turning version 1.20.2.425 is able to run threads?

It sounds like the spindle encoder may be faulty. Can you check the Z pulse in to the control.
