How do I get started with GCODE for Novaturn/FLSTEP?

Post by torleifj » Fri 06 Nov , 2009 22:32 pm

Hi.

I have a list of gcodes in the lathe manual, but no specification of parameters. Where are the parameters documented? Is there a demo CAM package that will generate valid gcode for the Novaturn?

Hmm, I have had a look through the manuals we have here, and see your problem - they only contain lists of the G codes without listing the parameters.

Maybe these will help anyway:

It could be that the only help is from within the software, if you look at the FLSTEP.MSG in a text editor, I see that there is some help information about the G codes in there

Thanks for your help.

I had missed the fact that the G/M codes are documented in FLSTEP. I assume that the help text in FLSTEP.exe is read from FLSTEP.msg
