PDB Bellvilles?

Post by ross77 » Mon 25 Nov , 2019 2:21 am

I'm looking to add a Power draw bar to my nova mill but cant seem to find out what Bellville's are needed.

In one of the posts it says 28 x 14.2 x 1.25 but that doesn't match the force required on a friends nova mill. From the 2600N fully open force it looks like 28 x 14.2 x 1.5 is a closer match

Before I tear down the spindle can anyone confirm what belviles are required?

The only spring we have fitted to the Heads over the years is, Disc Spring 28.0 O/D x 14.2 x 1.25

Thanks Martin
That's a great help. Looks like my friends one has been modified or I have got the maths wrong. Is it normal to require 100 PSI to open the draw bar?

We bypassed the controller and feed the mil direct from the compressor (with regulator)
