Hi all,
I've just been given the task of getting a Denford Novamill up and running. The machine won't home any of the axis. I exposed the limit switch on the y axis and when the stepper motor started it's whining I pressed the switch and the axis moved. I have let the homing time out once and that gave me access to jog which works fine.
I'm using the VR software. We want to get this machine up and running to give our students a basic idea of CNC. Any help would be really appreciated.

Update...
After a lot of messing about the z and y axis have homed though not consistently. When I try and home on the x axis the bed goes in the wrong direction.

Does the X axis move towards the Home switch or away from it when you ask it to home?
Have a look at the machine parameters for the NovaMill below from an older machine. It should be similar. (Setup, Setup Machine Parameters, (Password is denny)).

Well.....That has worked and the machine is now running. I'm using vectric aspire so I just need to see the best way to output the G code
