What is the best way to replace the belt for the X-axis drive on the Microrouter v3. I have the new drive belt, just have to install it.
Thanks

1. There are 2 x Allen screws that hold each timing belt pulley on to the "X" axis drive shafts.
2. Loosen the 2 x Allen screws that hold the pulley nearest to the front of the machine and remove the pulley and the old belt
3. Ensure that the "X" axis carriage its pressed firmly up as far as it will go to the RHS of the machine (Clamp if neccessary). This ensures the carriage is aligned correctly
4. Fit the new timing belt over the rear pulley and locate the belt teeth
5. Place the front pulley into the timing belt and roll it into position so that it lines up with the "X" front drive shaft. Note ! you need to get one of the Allen screws in a position i.e. inbetween the two parallel faces of the belt so it can be tightened.
6. Release the clamp (If used) and ease the "X" towards the LHS so the 2nd Allen screw is visible and tighten
