Upgrade micromill and turn hardware?

Post by crash1555 » Thu 20 Aug , 2015 19:32 pm

recently acquired a (1999) micro mill and micro turn with no software/dongle
id like to run Mach3
been reading viewtopic.php?f=36&t=3022

the breakout board he used is no longer available
(http://www.hobbycnc.com/products/hobbyc ... oard-kits/)

they do have a similar one
(http://www.hobbycnc.com/products/hobbyc ... board-kit/)

im pretty new to this, would the ez driver board kit work for me?

and is it as simple as connecting the wires to the new board and hooking it up to a computer with mach3?

Thanks
