Posting in mm or inch..what is the difference ?

Will the post processor "Denford Milling (Metric)" translate everything to metric, or will I have to import a metric STL file instead of Imperial. This is a follow up question from my previous inquiry. Again regarding the response for the MicroMill utilizing QuickCAM and the older VR Milling Software we own. I will follow your other suggestions regarding the radius outside limits as well.

Hardware/Software: Go to User Control Panel > Profile
Enter as much information about your CNC hardware and software as you can - it makes it easier for everyone to know what you're talking about then.

The metric post just outputs metric values in the gcode (.fnc file)
eg G01 X1 Y2
will become
G01 X25.4 Y50.8
Nothing else will change (ie, the model or the operatin software)
You can still run VR Milling in Inch mode so the display is inches, it will just be reading metric numbers from the program.

PS - I've changed the post title so anyone else looking for that same thing can find it
