Easyturn3 PNC3 oil reservoir and and coolant tank

Post by MaxWattage » Fri 05 Mar , 2021 15:02 pm

Hello,
Can anyone tell me what (approx) volumes of oil are contained in the oil reservoir, and/or the coolant tank of an Easyturn3 PNC3 Lathe.
(Yes I have looked through the manuals, but I couldn't find this information)

I'm going to buy one soon, and I would like to pump out any bulk liquids prior to transporting it to my workshop, so it is a lighter and more stable load to transport, and less likely to cause a spillage.

Thank you

Hello,

the coolant tank's volume is about 12 l.
The oil reservoir takes about 0.5 l on my Easiturn 3.

There is no need to empty the little oil tank, if you plan to transport the machine about upright. There is just a very small opening on top of that reservoir and it has even a little spring closed cap.

Take your time when charging the machine. In the hurry, my one tipped over and I was very lucky that it was not severely damaged :-).

Kind regards,
Bernt
