Easimill Joystick Control

Post by skipi » Tue 09 Aug , 2011 15:05 pm

Hi,

I recently purchased a Easimill PNC 2C.

When I put it into joystick mode. (F-1-Accept) it starts travelling to the left, as if the joystick is stuck. When it reaches home, it stops and I have to zero the mill.

The same happens in the Z axis if I set the switch to YZ.

If I center the table, then I can move the Y axis, but it appears to be reversed. ie. If I push up on the joystick the table moves towards me.

Any ideas?

Regards,

The movement of the joystick would normally correspond to the tool movement not the table.

Thanks for the reply.

i got it working, the potentimeter most have moved so i re-aligned it and all is good.

now that it's working I can see that the movement is relative to the tool.

thanks again
