Hi all,

wondered if anybody knows what the main spindle bearing part number is for an easiturn, and where the best place to get is.

Cheers steve

Which spindle bearing? There are three on the spindle.

Which Easiturn? 1, 2 or 3?

I have what I believe is an Easiturn, but it's an early model (most obvious features are an imperial X-axis ballscrew and extremely clever gearing to the Z-axis metric ballscrew such that both axes move 0.100" for one revolution of the corresponding stepper motor). However the headstock looks identical to an Easiturn 3.

The front two bearings are Timken 18790 (2" bore, 11/16" wide and 85mm OD of the cup - don't ask me why they chose to mix units).
The rear bearing is LJ1-3/8-2RS (1 3/8" bore, 3" OD, 11/16" wide).

Google these numbers for online suppliers or phone your local bearing stockist.
