Denford Model TDS/33/V/1P Turret Mill Manual

Post by striplar » Sun 20 Jul , 2008 21:57 pm

I have just bought this manual turret mill but can't find any technical information about it.
Does anyone have a workshop manual for it?
I'm hoping to convert it to CNC & would be interested to know if anyone has attempted this. I have attached a picture of the mill in question.

I believe some people called Denford had a go at running these off CNC and called it the Easimill!

There are certainly a lot of similarities if you compare pictures.

The user manual (such as it is) can be found here

Could you point me in the direction of the Easimill pictures and manual. I've searched the forum but can't see them.
Thanks

CNC Conversion Forum Topic

Thanks for that, the Easimill certainly looks very similar.
For anyone interested, I posted a topic on the Geckodrive forum which has resulted in a lot of very useful information. I plan to convert my mill to CNC, probably using Mach3 software on a PC and SmoothStepper (USB) interface driving AC servos using Step & Direction commands.
