Easiturn 3 Radius Problem

Post by skatz » Tue 11 Mar , 2008 22:55 pm

Hi All, I have an Easiturn3 with PNC3 Controller. When i program it to machine a Radius, quite often the tool seems to lose position and dig in part way round the radius. Has this problem happened to anyone else?

Thanks
skatz

Try increasing the feedrate. Stepper motors don't like v slow feeds.

Could also be mechanical (tight ballscrews or gib strips?).
