USB Floppy emulator on my TU150U

Post by Edis » Wed 10 May , 2017 20:35 pm

I tested the Gotek USB Floppy Emulator on my Harrison TU150U today, and got it to work. Have not done any longtime test, but it work fine tonight when I was making some test on the lathe.

I tested different setups on different "floppys" on the USB-memory, and the 4th one with DOS 7.1 did work!

Looks like this now!

Made a decal with the coordinatesystem tonight too. Newbie-thing

It´s this kind of emulator:

Hello
I was wondering how the emulator has been working for you now after a year or so of time passing? I may do the same thing to my Cyclone. Thanks mike

I haven´t used the machine so much, so I can´t say it´s reliable solution. But it´s has worked the times I´ve been running the machine, maybe 5 times since this thread

Thank you for the info. BTW I had seen in your other post that you have a lot of the keyboard overlay sheets. You by chance wouldn't want to sell me one or 2 would you? I have been cutting up old file folders and drawing the buttons on. Doesn't work to well when you get a spray of coolant on them. I guess I should make a video also, I have been making #10 taper pins out of 316 stainless and they look great. Thanks again. Mike

I sold an overlay last year to someone here, the shipping was about £5 to GB so I asked for £10 for one overlay. I can send two overlays for £14 (I use Paypal).

Would be nice so se your machine working on Youtube :D
