delete button not working

Can anyone help my delete button has stopped working. This happened after I had attempted to load a program and the memory was full after a few lines. Tried to delete it with no success. It won't let me delete programs in the memory or delete information in programs but will allow me to 'alter' and 'insert' information. Tried switching the machine off and powering it back up with success.

Not sure but I think you may be able to see the buttons change in the diagnostics. I think each switch was wired to the Fanuc mother board via 50 way plugs M1 & M2 & assigned a diagnostic.
