Post by MIS » Wed 25 May , 2011 10:16 am

Hi again guys!

Having more problems with our Harrison TU150..

Give it time to rest and rehome but then pops up with the alarm again!
Cant use the machine at all!

Probably a broken wire, loose or corroded pin on the cables to the X motor.
(unless the motor really has overheated  )

Machine has been left off overnight so assume overheating is not a problem!

hmmm.. time to get the hammer out!

Hi, did you ever find the problem? My Denford Senior had a VRDY OFF alarm and I played with the motor... Now I have this 1021 alarm. My first thought was brushes / connections??

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul.

What motor are fitted?

If it's SEM then it may be a bad connection or a broken wire to the thermal.

If you have the electrical drawings you should be able to locate the drive thermals & check the state in Diagnostics.

Hi all, I'm wondering if anybody knows if you can fit a tailstock to a Denford Senior 200 lathe? Is a large machine & seems a shame not to have one!

Thanks,

Paul
