Cyclone 24vdc power supply information

Post by Emimec » Mon 30 Mar , 2009 20:35 pm

Info from RS components:

The PCB is still on sale at RS components, part number 434-289.
The text below answered a query of purchasing the board and its components. The data sheet advises alternative parts may be available as many are now not stocked

"Regarding your enquiry about product : 434-289
I have had a look and we do not stock this item complete with it's components . I do have a data sheet which gives you a list of parts you could look at however some of the products may be discontinued. If you check the part numbers on the web site there should be possible functional alternatives to the parts that are discontinued. I hope this helps."

Kind Regards.

I should add that my problems were resolved by the excellent help recieved on this group, and it may well be best to look at the power supply suggested by Lone Ranger and the link he provided to RS. I will most probably go for that one rather than rebuild my original one.
Bob

I take the Cyclone is now behaving itself and performing as it should??

They are a great machine, like anything Fanuc controlled when right they are great when not right can be a nightmare!!

Reckon yours will pay for itself in no time now!!
