Compact 1000 - F1/Dragster Fixture - Blank Moving

Post by Benny » Thu 20 Dec , 2007 15:31 pm

Compact 1000 - New Style F1/Dragster Fixture mounted on table.
I notice that the dragster blank seems to be moving around too much in the fixture on the tapered end. I tried really pushing things together when I set it up, but it is still moving about 4-5 mm when machining. Any ideas?

You need to use the same small hold downs that you use with the F1 attachment and you should be good to go!

Attached are photos of the nose block using the black clamps to hold an F1 balsa block and a Dragster balsa block.
