Everything I pull into the PCB engraving software is smaller than it was.

Please can you supply more information?

Could you add a sample file?

Are you running in inches or metric?

How much smaller are you talking?

everything is in metric.
It happens with DXF, JPG, and BMP
It is about 15% to 20% smaller.

Are you creating .fnc files from quickcam 2D, then opening those into the PCB engraver software ?

If so, then it could be a fault in QuickCAM 2D, or a fault in the PCB software.
Can you create a .dxf of a 100m x 100m square, and send it here, along with the .fnc file you created for it. Maybe also useful to engrave it and let us know the actual size it comes out.

I am setting up a machine tomorrow. Can you let me know the software version you have and any sample files and I will test here.

Thanks for the information .

We will have a look at this today.

You could try a simple test for me in manual jog mode.

If you double click the mouse on the screen the tool moves to that location in X and Y.

Can you double click in each corner of the table and see if the tool moves the full travel?

What package are you creating the circuit in?

Are you saving the file as Gerber then importing into the PCB software?

Can you load this program into the PCB engraver for us (untitled.fnc attached below).
This is a 100mm(X) by 100mm(Y) square with the right hand side curved slightly
The billet size is 120mm (X) by 120mm (Y)
if it looks right in the PCB software, and cuts to size then there must be something wrong with the output from QuickCAM - screenshots of your TestPCB design would be useful
